Comments from Students

"Delightful class. This is my first time taking one of your offerings. Thank you. The flow of yoga language was lovely…And this is only the first class! Yummy."

-"I wanted to express how very monumentally life-changing the experience of practicing with you has been. You taught me how to perceive energy, how to trust myself and how to use every experience as a step towards another one. You opened my heart and I am grateful!""

"I’m having a really, really, REALLY hard day. I’ll be doing some poses as i can and want, and soaking up the amazing energy you give so freely. It’s a Joy to know you. "

-"You make this SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO accessible. I need to take more of your classes. Your voice and energy are so soothing. Lord knows I need more of that! Thanks for being a badass!!"

"I love class and appreciate you so much. This class has really been a blessing to me and my health."

-"It was as if you were reading my mind with your remarks at the beginning of class…I really resonated, and must remember in future days, that being in touch with our true selves, doesn’t give us control over the outcomes. We must be at ease with all the possibilities. The session was just what I needed."

Getting to know Luna

Many people think of Yoga as a purely physical practice. My interest in Yoga was first piqued by a magazine article which compared a yogi's fitness measures to other fitness professionals (the yogi excelled!) Over the years, however, I began to figure out something deeper was going on. The increase in flexibility, strength and fitness are just benevolent side effects of the practice. The real work in yoga is the clearing out of mental constructs that keep us from recognizing our own beauty and worth, our own strength and power and feeling the web of connection that weaves us all together. This is what I want to share!
